November, a political play by David Mamet, who wrote the screenplay for Wag the Dog, is set in the month notable for elections as well as presidential pardons of Thanksgiving turkeys.

President Charles Smith (Nathan Lane) is running for re-election, and some subjects (civil marriage, gambling casinos, lesbians, American Indians, presidential libraries, questionable pardons, campaign contributions) just won't go away.

  • USA Today
"Mamet's punch-line-packed script is zestfully directed by Joe Mantello and served by a first-rate cast."
  • New York Sun
    "Sneaky and scabrously funny..."
