It's a backstage murder mystery musical comedy that celebrates the mystique and fascinating characters of the theater.
It´s 1959, and we're in Boston for a new musical's out-of-town tryout. The show's in trouble...but not as much as its talent-free leading lady, who's been murdered during her curtain call. A stage-struck detective (David Hyde Pierce) arrives and finds suspects everywhere. Will the killer be found before more bodies start piling up? And, more importantly, will anyone ever figure out how to fix the second act?
