Quicker than you can say Adnan Ghalib the K-fed rumor is dead. Drats! I was really looking forward to Britney's former hubby making his way to Broadway. It turns out, however, that the rumors are NOT true. Kevin Federline's publicist says that there is no truth to the story that Federline will perform in Legally Blonde: The Musical. Reporters all over town are retracting their stories. Who knew that US Magazine and Perez Hilton were NOT reliable sources?!?! According to US Magazine and Perez Hilton - Britney Spear's ex-husband, Kevin Federline, is in negotiations to make his debut on the Broadway in the hit musical Legally Blonde. That's right folks; K-fed on B-way. Word is that he will take over the role(s) created by Broadway vet Andy Karl. One of the parts that Federline would step into would be that of the UPS guy who gets the girls in the beauty shop all excited. Which leads to the big "Bend and Snap" musical number. It looks like Usher (who made a stunning Broadway debut in the musical Chicago as Billy Flynn) may return to the rialto in a revival of the musical Golden Boy. The New York Post reported today that Usher is in talks with producers about the project. Charles Strouse (the composer of the musical) is quoted as saying, "I can't tell you that the contracts have been signed yet, but Usher's interest in the show is real. He's a rare talent. He moves so well, and he's a terrific singer.
