Word on the street is that Mario Lopez (Saved by the Bell and Dancing with the Stars) is all set to step into the high kickin' cast of Broadway's A Chorus Line. I had earlier reported that Lopez was looking to do a show on the rialto and that he was checking out A Chorus Line. Well, there has been no "official" announcement, but sources say that the deal is inked and he will be taking over the role of Zach in the show. Producers are hoping that the casting will give the show a big boost and help sagging ticket sales. They are betting that fans of Lopez and the tv show Dancing with the Stars will flock to see this revival of Michael Bennett's historical show about dancers auditioning for a space in the chorus of a Broadway show. Lopez will replace Michael Berresse.
