Research. Research. Research. I never stop researching for the blog here at Two On The Aisle. I spend hours toiling in the stacks of the library and days pouring over dense articles on the arts. Ok, I am lying. I spend a lot of time surfing the internet. Hey, that is how we get are info these days! I found some interesting things as I clicked around The World Wide Web yesterday and I thought I would "hook you up". Am I too old to use the phrase "hook you up"? Actually, I don't think people use the phrase "hook you up" anymore. I digress. How about I just tell you what I found. Here you go.
Click HERE to take a look at some new photos from The Little Mermaid. The producers and press agent are being very strategic about releasing new photos slowly and it is working. I am getting more and more excited about the show. I am officially a convert - from skeptic to fanatic!
Click HERE to see pixs of Drew Barrymore as Little Edie Beale. These pixs are from the set of the new Grey Gardens movie. Drew looks DAZZLING! I guess the new movie will tackle the story of Big and Little Edie's decline into poverty and squalor. A "pre-quel" to the documentary and "mid-quel" to the Bway show. Oh, I am getting confused - let's all just go see the movie!
Click HERE to take a look at the new Sweeney Todd trailer. The movie looks great, but there is not a single bit of singing in the trailer. Have they cut all the music? Not likely, but it does appear that they are trying to trick audiences into thinking it is a horror movie of sorts (lots of blood in this trailer). It reminds me when they release a foreign film in America and there is no spoken dialogue in the trailer. Ugh. This trailer, however, looks HOT!
Ok, this one isn't very topical, but I just have to include it here...Click HERE to see Natalie Portman in Cabaret when she was a kid at Stage Door Manor (a summer camp for theater geeks). You have to watch this. Hysterical. I especially love her costars "mishap".
I hope you had fun click click clicking...

Um. The Natalie Portman thing is hysterical. I can't believe you found that? That poor girl that fell off her chair, being shown on OPRAH!!!
That looks like good training for a career in the cutthroat world of acting - you might hit the floor with your face, but the show WILL go on!
You are right. Those Little Mermaid pics are beautiful.... and I am really excited about Sweeney Todd!
